By K R Gururaja RaoIn a match which had all the ingredients of a limited over cricket match, the two Asian teams Pakistan and Sri Lanka were involved in a tie at Sharjah in the three nation Coca Cola Cup yesterday. The Sri Lankans were set a target 197 runs in the allotted 50 overs and were cruising towards the target authoritatively when they had lost just one wicket for 157 runs. But a sudden burst of sustained fast bowling by Abdur Razzaq in his second spell demolished the Sri Lankan batting line-up when he struck vital blows at crucial intervals. This tied match is the 18th instance in one-day cricket history. Pakistan has figured in 8 matches to the Sri Lankans 2nd. The following is the complete list of tied matches in One-day International Cricket.
