Sharjah:Pakistan mauled Sri Lanka by 88 runs in a one-Sided final to win the Three-Nation Coca Cola Trophy cricket tournament here tonight, thanks to a sensational five-wicket haul by medium-pacer Azhar Mahmood and two rank bad umpiring decisions against the islanders.

Opting to bat first, Pakistan made 211 for nine from their allotted 50 overs and then bowled out the Lankans for just 123 in 36 overs.

The umpiring decisions against Aravinda De Silva and Romesh Kaluwitharana notwithstanding, Pakistan played like champions and outclassed the Sri Lankans in all departments of the game.

Mahmood took five for 28 runs in his ten overs to break the back of the Sri Lankan batting. He ended the tournament with a haul of 13 wickets in five matches, including four in the two-stage league.
