East London: Veteran opener Gary Kirsten was on Saturday recalled for South Africa's last two One-day Internationals against Pakistan, in Paarl on Monday and Cape Town on Wednesday. Kirsten (35), has not played in a One-day International since he was dropped after a tournament in Morocco in August. His recall followed disappointing performances by the South African top order recently. It gives Kirsten a good chance of winning a place in the side for the upcoming World Cup. The matches on Monday and Wednesday are South Africa's last two One-day games before the World Cup squad is named by December 31.
