Pakistan skipper elects to bat against Kenya

Sharjah: Pakistan captain Rashid Latif won the toss and elected to bat against Kenya in the last league match of the Sharjah Cup on Tuesday.

The teams: Pakistan: Rashid Latif (captain), Yousuf Youhana, Taufeeq Umer, Mohammad Hafeez, Misbah-ul-Haq, Faisal Iqbal, Rana Hasan, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Sami, Umar Gul and Danish Kaneria.

Kenya: Steve Tikolo (captain), Hitesh Modi, Thomas Odoyo, Kennedy Otieno, Collins Obuya, Peter Ongondo, Joseph Angara, Jimmy Kamande, David Obuya, Brijal Patel and Maurice Odumbe.

Umpires: Kevan Barbour (Zimbabwe) and AV Jayaprakash (India)

TV umpire: Billy Doctrove (West Indies)

Match referee: Ahmed Ebrahim (Zimbabwe)
