New Delhi: Indian skipper Sachin Tendulkar today said speedster Javagal Srinath, who had been rested in view of the hectic Australian tour beginning at the end of the month, would replace injured Ajay Jadeja in the crunch encounter at the Ferozeshah Kotla Ground here tomorrow.

Earlier, the Indian team management had denied that any one of the Karnataka trio of Javgal Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad and Anil Kumble would be called in for the decider.

Acknowledging that being the hosts the team would be under pressure, Tendulkar said the New Zealanders are a rejuvenated lot following their comprehensive 48-run victory in the fourth one-dayer at Guwahati.

''We will put everything in place and even take extra effort to clinch the five-match one-day series,'' Tendulkar told reporters after a strenuous net session at the Palam Ground here.

When asked whether the team took the Kiwis for granted in the fourth one-dayer at Guwahati, the little master said ''we never take our opponents lightly and there has never been a question was of underestimating them.''
