Perth: Australian fast bowler Michael Kasprowicz today made a triumphant return to test cricket, taking four for 53 as Pakistan collapsed all out for 155 at tea on the first day of the third test.

Kasprowicz, recalled to the Australian team when Scott Muller was dropped by selectors, cleaned up the Pakistani tail with three wickets in four balls to go into the second innings on a hat-trick. He dismissed Saqlain Mushtaq with the third ball of his 12th over then claimed Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Akram for ducks with his fifth and sixth deliveries of the same over as Pakistan lost their last five wickets for just 20 runs.

Pacemen Glenn McGrath and Damien Fleming had earlier claimed three scalps each as they ran through the Pakistan top order. They reduced Pakistan to 85-5 by lunch before Azhar Mahmood and Moin Khan stabilised the innings with a sixth-wicket stand of 52.
