The smallest ground in South African domestic cricket, East London is nevertheless a popular venue - it has been an international ground since 1992, and has hosted many ODIs, including the game between South Africa and Canada in the 2003 World Cup. It also hosted a Test between the Proteas and Bangladesh in 2002, when Graeme Smith scored a double-century as the hosts ran out victors by an innings.

The home of the Border Bears, Buffalo Park has grass embankments surrounding it similar to many grounds of its ilk - meaning with its ocean view, it is a stunning venue for the game despite its smalls size.
