New Delhi: After managing a draw against Bengal with three points, Delhi would leave no stone unturned to secure full marks when they take on Mumbai in the second round of the Ranji Trophy Super League tie at the Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium here on Friday.

Being on home ground in familiar conditions, the hosts are looking a strong side, but the Mumbaiites have come to the Kotla Ground in a positive frame of mind, hopeful of winning the game or at least securing the first innings lead.

Both teams are weaker with the absence of their stars who are playing the first Test against South Africa.

Delhi will be deprived of the services of all-rounder Nikhil Chopra, who played a gritty knock to salvage the situation with a draw at Eden Gardens.

In the absence of Wasim Jaffer and Ajit Agarkar, Mumbai skipper Samir Dighe will have a tough time.

However, the presence of Dighe, Kambli, Kuruvilla and Bahutule is enough to cause worry to the hosts.

Besides the team composition, potential and performance, toss is likely to play a vital role as the captain calling the coin correctly will bat first on the placid batsman-friendly Kotla track.

Delhi: Ajay Sharma (Captain), Ashu Dani, Akash Chopra, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Mithun Manhas, Vijay Dahiya, Rahul Sanghvi, Robin Singh, Sanjay Gill, Rajesh Gehlot and Akash Malhotra.

Mumbai: Samir Dighe (Captain), Amit Pagnis, Jatin Paranjpe, Vinod Kambli, Amol Muzumdar, Rajesh Pawar, Shriram Kannan, Abey Kuruvilla, Sairaj Bahutule, Amit Dani, Amol Rane and Ramesh Pawar.
