Mumbai lift Ranji Trophy once again

Mumbai: Mumbai have lifted the Ranji Trophy once again. They bowled out Hyderabad for a 297-run win on the last day of the finals at the Wankhede stadium here on Sunday. This is their 34th championship triumph.

The match lasted for just above half-an-hour in the morning. Rajesh Pawar wiped out the Hyderabad tail-enders, and in the process ended up with an impressive figure of seven for 103. Resuming from the overnight score of 251 for seven, Hyderabad were all out for 293.

The trophy was handed over to Mumbai skipper Samir Dighe by Mumbai Cricket Association president Manohar Joshi.
