Pepsi prevail by 15 runs in under-12 tie

Bangalore: Zohar (65), Sadiq Kirmani (45) and P S Aditya did the start turn as Pepsi XI beat St. Patrick's, Chennai by 15 runs in an under-12 match of the all-India Pepsi invitation cricket tournament conducted by Imtiaz Ahmed Cricket Academy on Tuesday.

Scores: Under-12: Pepsi XI 179 for six in 30 overs (Zohar 65, Sadiq Kirmani 45, P.S. Aditya 33) beat St. Patrick's, Chennai 164 all out in 29.5 overs (Hariharasudan 42, Samrat Bhuta two for 19, S Arjun two for 26).

Star Cricket Academy, Guwahati 128 all out in 23 overs (B Ambar 31, Zubin three for zero, Vikhar two for 21) lost to Imtiaz Ahmed Cricket Academy 129 for six in 27 overs (Vikas 28, Neeraj 26, T Parthajyothi three for 18).

Under-14: Pepsi XI 95 all out in 25 overs (Jai Sandeep three for 21, Dinesh Kumar two for one) lost to Krishna District Association 98 for two in 25 overs (Shivaji 43, Sandeep 25).

Clarence High School 123 all out in 29 overs (Martin three for 15) lost to St. Patrick's, Chennai 124 for no loss in 14 overs (Aravind 50 not out, Devageetan 43 not out).

Under-16: Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre 325 for seven in 30 overs (Paritosh Kumar 73, Palasjyothi Das 66, Vishal Jain 58, S Bhattacharji 27, Nilkant Sarkar two for 38) beat Satya Sadhini 56 all out in 24 overs (S Bhat two for five, Bhaskarjyothi two for six, R Gupta two for nine, Roopam Rava two for 14, Paritosh Kumar two for 19).

Baishaki Club, Calcutta 183 for eight in 30 overs (D Choudary 75 not out, Saikat Sen 30) lost to Star Cricket Academy, Guwahati 184 for three in 27 overs (Binode Panday 59, Chandan Raut 43, Rajiv Kalita 26 not out, D Choudary two for 25).
