Benoni: South Africa cruised to a six-wicket victory over New Zealand after having set a modest victory target of 195 by the Kiwis on Sunday.Boje coming in as a pinch-hitter once again did the star turn for the Proteas with a brisk 64 and giving him solid support at the other end was Gary Kirsten. Both put on 111 runs for the second wicket. Boje continued where he left of and displayed attacking cricket. He thumped the ball to all parts of the ground, while Kristen played the sheet anchor.After their departure Kallis saw the team through with an unbeaten 39.

The hero of the ICC final Cairns looked like coming good for the Kiwis but he was undone by Klusener and although Harris and Parore threw their bats around towards the end, they were not able to sustain the pace and departed going for runs.South African fielding, as usual, was at its brilliant best with Jonty toping the chart with a stunning catch to bring about the down fall of Parore who had just struck a couple of fours and was threatening to fetch the Kiwis a huge chunk of runs towards the closure of their innings.
