Sydney: Australian opener Michael Slater was sent to a Brisbane hospital on Tuesday for precautionary tests after experiencing breathing difficulties at a team training camp. ''I feel fine and I'm confident it's nothing,'' Slater told reporters before leaving the camp for Brisbane. ''I've been in good health for most of my life. I felt a shortness of breath when I had my evening meal and I think I panicked a bit.''Slater had been released from a local hospital at the team's training headquarters in tropical north Queensland after being cleared of any serious problems last night but decided to travel to Brisbane for further tests.''The hospital gave me the all clear and I had a good night's sleep and a restful morning but I'm still going to Brisbane to get a second opinion,'' he said.An aggressive right-handed batsman, Slater is considered an automatic selection for Australia's upcoming five-Test series against the West Indies although, like all the Australian players, he will have to pass a fitness test.
