Dhaka: Bangladesh will visit Pakistan to play two Test matches there if India's upcoming tour of Pakistan does not materialise, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) secretary Ashraful Haq said on Friday.Speaking to UNI, Mr Haq said the Bangladesh tour of Pakistan would be backed up by a back-to-back series where Pakistan would play two Test matches in Bangladesh. Mr Haq said in case the India's tour to Pakistan materialised, then Bangladesh would play two Test matches in April next year with Zimbabwe. He said from next season, Bangladesh would be placed in ICC Test calendar and would play at least 25 test matches in next five years meeting all the Test playing countries in the process.Mr Haq said the BCB, to prepare their team for these events, had drawn elaborate plans and signed the contract with 20 of their national ranking players. ''We are the first Asian country to introduce contract system. We now have 20 players under contract. They get paid according to the gradation with 'A' category players getting around Rs 5 lakh takas per annum," Mr Haq said. "The match fees are over and above all these and besides medical coverage and insurance expenses. We are committed to looking after our players and as a return we also want one hundred per cent commitment from them,'' Mr Haq added. UNI
