New Delhi: Over a dozen Shiv Sainiks pelted stones at a beauty clinic run by former all-rounder Manoj Prabhakar's wife in south Delhi on Saturday protesting against the cricketer's alleged involvement in match-fixing. The activists led by party's state executive member Abhimanyu Gulati shouted slogans against Prabhakar outside the parlor located in the posh Greater Kailash area and pelted stones damaging a car and breaking windowpanes, police sources said adding no one was injured in the attack. Police, which rushed to the spot, detained three party workers including Gulati, the sources said, adding the others protesters managed to escape. "This is the beginning of our crusade against corruption. The corrupt are traitors and they should be hanged," Sena's Delhi chief Jai Bhagwan Goyal said. "The Shiv Sainiks are upset over the manner in which these cricketers have fooled the entire nation," he said. When contacted, deputy commissioner of police (south district) P Kamraj confirmed that an "incident has taken place" and "we are looking into it." The incident occurred even as Prabhakar deposed before the cricket Board's inquiry commissioner K Madhavan in connection with the match-fixing charges in Chennai.
