Calcutta: Former International Cricket Council president Jagmohan Dalmiya has alleged that he has become the victim of a witch hunt. Reacting to the raids conducted at his premises as well as other parts of the country by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday, Mr Dalmiya said that the CBI officials knocked on his doors while he was asleep.Mr Dalmiya said that the officials were looking for some papers regarding the telecast rights. He said that he failed to understand why the CBI was searching his premises when he had nothing to do with the deals. He alleged that after having served international cricket at the highest level, some people were trying to settle their personal scores. His statement was not recorded by the CBI during the searches, he claimed. He said that the present CBI action was being taken at the "behest of a few people" who were against him. He, however, did not say who they were. He said that he was "shaken" by the raids conducted on Monday.
