New Delhi: Zimbabwe skipper Heath Streak said his team is on a high as the stunning victory against Board President's XI in a three-day tie at Faridabad has boosted the confidence of players ahead of the first Test match scheduled to start on Saturday.''Though the five-day match is quite different from the warm-up encounter, the win augurs well before the real Test beginning on November 18,'' Streak told UNI.Realising the limitation of his crew members, the Zimbabawe captain said India have a good batting line-up with a strong middle-order. ''Since we cannot be over attacking, we have to maintain line and length. If we get some early breakthroughs, there is no reason why we can't put them under pressure,'' he said.''However, our main emphasis will be to make batsmen play and not get too greedy,'' Streak said. Knowing that spin speaks better than pace bowling in India, Streak has high expectations from his two leg-spinners Paul Strangand Brian Murphy, besides medium-fast bowler Henry Olonga, who will assist his captain in the pace department. On batting front, the speedster said the team would look forward to Alistair Campbell maintaining his superb form and Guy Whittal, not to forget the Flower brothers, Andy and Grant. ''We are expecting our experienced players to play to their potential as there is a lot of inexperience in the squad,'' he said hoping that newcomer Douglas Marillier would rise to the occasion. Though Gavin Rennie has been in and out of the side, he is a solid bat. Besides, Mluleki Nkala has had a sporadic display and should do justice to the job at hand, the captain added.Streak said the team has made a determined effort to overcome the loss of Murray Goodwin and Neil Johnson as the seasoned duo left Zimbabwe this year to play in Australia and South Africa respectively. ''It has been hard but we have combined well,'' he added.Streak took over the reigns of a struggling squad from Andrew Flower for the recently concluded Sharjah Cup. Both the countries have one victory in their bags in three Tests played till date while one ended in draw. UNI
