X-ray rules out fracture for Hussain

Lahore: England captain Nasser Hussain was taken to hospital for an X-ray examination after being hit on the right arm while batting on the final day of the first Test against Pakistan on Sunday.But Andy Walpole, spokesman for the England Cricket Board (ECB), told reporters that Hussain had just suffered bruises and the X-ray check had found no fracture.Hussain was struck on the lower part of his arm as he attempted to hook Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram. The England captain was clearly in pain as he was led from the field by physiotherapist Dean Conway.Ice and strapping were applied to the injury before Hussain was driven to hospital.
