New Delhi: The government will decide on the future course of action on the Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) report on cricket match-fixing and related malpractice after getting advice from all concerned ministries, the Lok Sabha was informed on Monday. In a written reply to V K Malhotra and Tarachand Bhagora, minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Uma Bharti said Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will submit the views and decide the final action by the end of this month after examining the report. She said a copy of the report has been sent to the concerned ministries seeking their advice about the future course of action. The CBI, in its report, indicated that the inquiry into the matter of granting of television rights was being dealt with separately. The CBI has since informed that it has recently registered five cases against Doordarshan officials and others, Ms Bharti said adding three cases relate to cricket and two to tennis.
