Cuttack: off-spinner Nikhil Chopra and batsman Sridharan Sriram have been kept out of the 12 of the Indian team, which takes on Zimbabwe in the first of five-match Pepsi One-day series at the Barabati Stadium on Saturday, captain Saurav Ganguly said.Speaking to newsmen after a strenuous three-and-a-half-hour net practice on Friday, Ganguly said out of remaining 12 players either of Hemang Badani or local idol Shiv Sundar Das would have to sit out.Commenting on the series starting on Saturday, Ganguly said, ''It's a new series and like the test we would have to do well, here as well.''Regarding team composition, a confident Ganguly said he and Sachin would open, while Rahul and Yuvraj would come one and two down. Either Shiv Sundar Das or Hemang Banadni and wicket-keeper Vijay Dahiya would comprise the middle order. The medium pace attack would include Vekatesh Prasad, Ajit Agarkar and Zaheer Khan. Sunil Joshi and Reetinder Singh Sodhi are expected to don the role of all-rounders. Ganguly, however, said the final 11 would be announced before the start of the match. Regarding the wicket he felt it was full of runs, "but we have to improve our fielding to a great extent in order to back up our bowling".UNI
