Bangalore: Uncertainty seems to loom large over TV production tycoon Mark Mascarenhas' print medium venture 'Cricket Talk'. While an Indian web site has stated that the magazine would close down after the current issue, 'Cricket Talk' sources at Mumbai and Bangalore stated that the plans for the magazine are under review."We are not closing down, but only working at different options. We are planning to make the magazine a monthly. We will get a clear picture by the end of the month," sources from Mumbai told Thatscricket.com. However, sources in Bangalore claimed there was no move to close down the magazine. The sources, however, confirmed that Mr Ayaz Memon had quit as editor.Mascarenhas' TV production company WorldTel was subject to Central Bureau of Investigation and Income Tax raids with regard to the telecast rights deal. The CBI is pursuing the case in which the national television channel Doordarshan is alleged to have been defrauded crores of rupees.The magazine with a high profile cast of cricket writers on the board as well as columnists was launched with a lot of media hype during the India versus South Africa match early this year.
