ACA to tour Bangladesh next month

Dhaka: A team from Australia's Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy (ACA) will tour Bangladesh in the beginning of new year, an Australian High Commission source said here on Friday.The month-long tour beginning on January 5 will include two three-day, one four-day and two One-day matches in capital Dhaka and western city of Rajshahi, the source said, but added that the schedule was yet to be finalised.Officials at Bangladesh Cricket Board confirmed the tour, saying details were being worked out. Bangladesh is likely to put their national squad and 'A' team against the tourists, who will have former Aussie legend Rodney Marsh as manager.The opening encounter will be with a three-dayer in Rajshahi on January 7.Copyright AFP 2000
