Johannesburg: Rain prevented play on the third day of the third and final Test between South Africa and New Zealand at the Wanderers Stadium on Sunday.Heavy rain in the morning saturated the ground but it was hoped some play would be possible later in the day. Further rain started to fall soon after 2:00 pm (1200 GMT) and the umpires finally called off play half an hour later.It was the second full day lost to rain in the match.
No play was possible on the first day Friday. New Zealand were bowled out for 200 on Saturday after being sent in to bat. South Africa were 18 for one in reply.An extra hour's play will be added to both the two remaining days with 105 overs scheduled to be bowled on both days.South Africa lead the series 2-0.
