Pak tour: ACC postpone mission India

Dhaka: Asian Cricket Council (ACC) delegation's mission to New Delhi to pursuade India to revive its cancelled tour of Pakistan has been postponed but not abandoned, the head of the mission said here Monday."We have not given up the hope to meet Indian federal ministers. ACC is keen to make them understand the greater interest of Asian cricket and its development across the region," ACC head Saber Hossain Chowdhury said.He said other schedules such as the Asian Test Championship and the Asia Cup Cricket were also important topics. Chowdhury, along with board members Thilanga Sumathipala of Sri Lanka and Tunku Imran of Malayasia, were to travel India in the first week of this month.Copyright AFP 2000
