Former sports scribe Sriman is no more

New Delhi: Eminent sports journalist and former Sports Editor of 'The Times of India', R Sriman died early on Wednesday. He was 76 and is survived by his wife, son and daughter.Sriman was former president, Sports Journalists' Federation of India and Delhi Sports Journalists' Association. He was also president of the Venkatesvara Temple Society.The cremation will take place in the afternoon at Nigambodh Ghat. Former weightlifter Balbir Singh Bhatia, other veteran sportsmen and senior journalists assembled at Sriman's residence after learning of his demise. UNI
