Australia to host world provincial tournament

Adelaide: Australia will host a One-day series between four of the world's best provincial teams in 2001, the Western Australia Cricket Association announced on Thursday.The series will take place in Perth from March 24 to April 4 and will feature the national One-day champions from Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa.Western Australia will carry the flag for the host nation after winning last season's domestic One-day championship.Mumbai will represent India after winning the Ranji tournament.
