Brisbane: Sam Loxton, a member of Don Bradman's legendary 1948 ''Invincibles'' side, was still dazed by a double tragedy after his wife died and his son was killed in a shark attack in Fiji on the same day.The body of Loxton's wife, Joan, 75, was discovered in the swimming pool of the couple's Gold Coast home on Tuesday. She had either tripped and hit her head or suffered a heart attack before falling into the pool and drowning, local media reported.Loxton's son Mike, 48, from a previous marriage, was killed by a shark while swimming back from his sailboat, anchored just off the Fijian resort island of Taveuni.''I find it very difficult to come to terms with,'' a shaken Loxton, 80, told Australian television on Thursday.''It was really terrible,'' said Taveuni doctor Mohammed Ishaque, who told Reuters the shark had bitten off Loxton's right leg and buttock. ''He died because of a massive haemorrhage.''Mike Loxton had been living in Fiji for 16 years. His death also devastated his fiancee Salote Qoriniasi. ''I was completely shocked it happened,'' she told reporters in Fiji. ''I saw him go out and after 15 minutes his body wasseen floating.''Bradman's ''Invincibles'' won a five Test series in England in 1948 by a then record margin of 4-0 and were unbeaten on 34 matches on tour. Captained by Bradman, the world's most prolific batsman, the ''Invincibles'' scored 721 on the first day of the tour's first match against Essex. (c) Reuters Limited. Click here for Restrictions
