Mumbai: Indian cricket coach John Wright defended skipper Saurav Ganguly for the vigorous show of disagreement with umpire during the fourth One-day match against Zimbabwe at Kanpur.Ganguly was suspended for the next match by referee Barry Jarman. Wright, without any protest against the suspension said Ganguly is a passionate player and exhibits the passion while playing for the country. He saw nothing wrong in it and added that he would not like such passionate feelings to be removed from the game.Wright will on Saturday consult with former Australian coach Geoff Marsh, who is here to take up his position in the advisory capacity with the Board of Control for Cricket in India, before flying back home to New Zealand. He will return next month to prepare India for a much harder competition against world champions Australia. UNI
