Mumbai: Mumbai are likely to miss the services of Sachin Tendulkar and Ajit Agarkar for the Perth invitational One-day tournament to be played at the WACA ground from March 29 to April 4 as the dates are clashing with the Australian tour of India. The tournament will include the current domestic champions from Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and India. However, as happened with the proposed Kenyan tour by the Mumbai team in September this year which was cancelled because of the unavailability of the 'stars' due to the Indian teams conditioning camp, this tour is likely to go ahead even if the stars are busy playing for India.Mumbai would dearly like to send a full strength team, but their hopes rest on the Programmes and Fixtures Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on December 22, which will finalise the itinerary of the Australian tour of India.Professor Ratnakar Shetty, joint secretary of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) meanwhile is keeping his fingers crossed and also intends to request the BCCI's Programmes and Fixtures Committee to finalise the Aussie itinerary in March in such a way that Sachin and Agarkar would be able to lead Mumbai's challenge in the Perth tournament.
