Pepsi Trophy is safe, says BCCI official

Mumbai: The Pepsi Trophy, which India won by beating Zimbabwe, 1-0 in the recently concluded Test series against Zimbabwe is in the office of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) here.BCCI executive secretary Sharad Diwadkar secretary said that the Trophyis safe in the BCCI office.There were reports in an eveninger that the Trophy was lying abandoned in an flight at Mumbai airport. Mr Diwadkar refuted the reports and said, "The trophy is safe and sound in the BCCI headquarters at the north block, Brabourne stadium."Diwadkar further said that the One-day Trophy which India won beating the Zimbabweans is safe and sound with the Saurashtra Cricket Association at Rajkot.
