Lahore: Two former Pakistan cricket captains - Sarfraz Nawaz and Rameez Raja - threw discretion to the winds and virtually came to blows at the Qaddafi Stadium. The incident occurred on Wednesday at a waiting room of the Pakistan Cricket Board's chairman Lt.Gen Taquir Zia, when both of them cameface to face and started shouting at each other in presence of the staff.Sarfraz alleged that Rameez used abusive language and threatened to throw him out of the stadium. The two former Test stars are involved in a court case which has been filed by Rameez. The way the two former cricketers exchanged abuses it seemed that they were to settle their court battle in the open. Sarfraz claimed that he had gone on top to meet Lt Gen Tauqir Zia when Rameez entered the room. On seeing "me, Rameez suddenly lost his cool and without any provocation started shouting and hurling abuses". Rameez was also very angry with the security guards for allowing Sarfraz inside of the PCB office. Rameez, a member of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) advisory council, has filed Rs 50 million suit against Sarfraz after the former fast bowler accused him of misappropriation of funds.UNI
