Kuala Lumpur: Citing prior commitments, India have pulled out of a One-day cricket tournament in Malaysia later this month which includes Pakistan and Bangladesh, the organisers said on Thursday.''We received a reply from the Indian Cricket Board that they were not available for the period because of their other commitments,'' Karu Selvaratnam, secretary of the Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA), told Reuters.Selvaratnam said Pakistan and Bangladesh had signaled their readiness to play in the three-nation tournament, to be held in Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur. In November, the Indian government cancelled a proposed December-February tour of Pakistan by India because of political tensions over Kashmir.Selvaratnam said the organisers planned to postpone the Malaysian tournament. ''We are trying to see if it can be held in the first quarter of the year or slightly after the first quarter,'' he said. (c) Reuters Limited. Click here for Restrictions
