Vijayawada: Title holders North Zone by virtue of their massive 231 runs first innings lead, gained five points when they drew against hosts South Zone (three points) in the four day Duleep trophy cricket league match which concluded here on Sunday.The highlight of the final day's play was a chanceless unbeaten century by Delhi's opener Akash Chopra (125 no) to become the 35th player in the history of Indian cricket to score a century in each innings in first class cricket. Chopra had scored 110 runs in the first innings.Chopra, along with Yuvraj Singh (80 no), added 134 runs for the unfinished fourth wicket in just 80 minutes. UNI
