Bangalore: The Karnataka State Cricket Association Employees' Union on Friday alleged corruption in recent construction work at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, and demanded a CBI probe into it.
Union president Allampalli Venkataram claimed here that the association had not called for legal tenders while taking up work since former Test player Brijesh Patel became its secretary two years ago.
''We demanded appointment of an administrator till the probe is completed,'' he told newspersons here.
Demanding withdrawal of transfer of employees, he urged Union Sports minister Uma Bharti to take action against the office-bearers of the Association.
