New Delhi: Sports minister Uma Bharti on Monday said that she was consulting the Law ministry about declaring match-fixing a crime.Addressing reporters, Ms Bharti said that the legal aspect of the whole matter would be thoroughly discussed and then only a decision would be taken. The BJP leader said that she has received replies of some of the tainted cricketers who were issued notice regarding withdrawal of Arjuna awards to them. ''We are going through the replies and will take a decision by Wednesday or Thursday.''Defending her move to withdraw the Arjuna awards, Ms Bharti said that the award itself had the provision that it could be taken back if the situation was reversed from what it was at the time of presentation. Regarding some players' threat to challenge the Sports ministry's decision in the court, she said ''let them go to the court. We will decide about it when we get notice from the court.'' UNI
