Though India won the first Test match at Mumbai their performance in the second Test was well below par and were forced to follow on but in the second knock Indian opener Gautam Gambihr (212) and Vinayak Mane (201) helped the visitors bat again. Indian coach and former Test player Roger Binny, after the nets, said he was not happy with the batting of the boys and the fielding was not upto the mark. Our boys should pull up their socks and try to win the third and final Test. The Lal Bahadur Stadium track looks full of runs and only during the first hour the ball might dance to the tune of the bowlers because of the early morning dew. The bounce would also be low and the batsmen might have to wait for the ball. The England side who have gone for sight seeing of the pearl city had a light limbering up session this evening at the Gymkhana ground and their coach T J Boon is confident of his boys putting a better performance compared to the last two Test matches played at Mumbai and Chennai. He said our two towering medium pacer A C McGarry and J Parrison were settling down and will give their best to bowl the rivals out in both the innings so that we can square the three Test series.
