Azhar starts legal action against BCCI on ban
Bangalore: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Dr A C Muthiah said that the Board would answer Azhar's charges in court. "He has gone to court and we will defend our position there," Dr Muthiah told reporters after launching the cricket software "e - cricket pro" on Tuesday."He can say whatever he wants, but we believe that we have done a right thing in appointing Mr Madhavan as our probe commissioner. I cannot make any public comment as the matter is already in court," the BCCI chief added."I have no grudges against anybody. It is not for Azhar to decide what we have done is right or wrong. He has gone to the court and the court will give its decision," Mr Muthiah said while sporting a smile to all the queries."We haven't decided on probing Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri or Sachin Tendulkar as allegedly demanded by Azhar. There is nothing to this effect in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) report and we do not intend to investigate the above players," he categorically stated.
