Hyderabad: A city court on Tuesday issued urgent notices to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), its president Dr A C Muthiah and former CBI joint director K Madhavan to file their counter-affidavits by February 14, on a petition of former captain Mohammed Azharuddin challenging the life ban on him in the match-fixing case.Judge J Shyamsundar Rao issued notices to the three respondents on the plea made by Azharuddin's advocate T Jadeeshan. The advocate moved the court on Monday challenging the life ban imposed on Azharuddin by the BCCI contending that the appointment of Madhavan as inquiry commissioner was not in accordance with the Board rules.

We will answer Azhar in court, says Muthiah
