New Delhi: The Government has not permitted the holding of any cricket series featuring India, Pakistan and Bangladesh to collect funds for helping the people affected by the devastating earthquake in Gujarat.Official sources on Saturday denied that any permission had been accorded for such a series in Sharjah or that the government had expressed its approval.Media reports had indicated that the Asian Cricket Foundation was organising the One-day series between February 8 and 11 in Sharjah. The sources however could not confirm or deny whether permission had been sought for holding such a series. UNIExtras:
