London: Former England batsman Mark Ramprakash has won his battle to leave second division county Middlesex with a year still to run on his contract.Middlesex chief executive Vinny Codrington said on Thursday Middlesex had agreed to release 31-year-old Ramprakash, who was dropped by England last year after an ill-fated decision to promote him to opener.The former Middlesex skipper, who has spent his whole career at the London club, said last year he wanted to play for a first division county in an attempt to win back his England place.(c) Reuters Limited.
