Chennai: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president A C Muthiah on Friday announced that the Board has decided to disburse 70 per cent of the income accruing from television rights to various state cricket associations affiliated to the Board.Addressing a press conference after the Special General Body meeting of the BCCI here, he said the state associations could use this subsidy only for cricketing activities. The Board would retain the remaining 30 per cent, he added.The Board would monitor the cricketing activities of all associations, Mr Muthiah said. He said this subsidy to the associations would be reviewed after three years and added that 50 per cent of the announced percentage would be disbursed immediately. UNI
