Asansol: Mumbai and Andhra Pradesh will clash in the semi-finals on Monday when they moved to the last four after defeating Air India and Punjab respectively in the quarter-finals of the 25th Senior National Women's Cricket Championship on Sunday. In the local Polo ground Air India batted first and made 120 runs losing all their wickets in 47.2 overs. In reply Mumbai surpassed the required runs at the loss of two wickets in 35.4 overs. Sunetra, who was declared Woman-of-the-match, made 47 runs remaining not out. She was assisted by wicket-keeper-batsman Subadra Nayak who also remained not out at 27 runs. In the other match of the day at Burnpur Andhra Pradesh after making 188 runs losing two wickets in stipulated 44 overs restricted Punjab to 151 runs in all 44 overs taking eight wickets. Due to poor visibility in the morning the overs were restricted to 44 only. Host Bengal will also play in the second semi-final here on Monday against reigning champions Indian Railways. UNI
