Adelaide: The funeral of Australian cricket legend Sir Donald Bradman, who died on Sunday aged 92, will be held in Adelaide on Thursday.Bradman's son John told a news conference on Wednesday that his father would be cremated at a private service at Centennial Park after a procession from the Bradman family home in Kensington Park.He said his father had requested a private service but a memorial, open to the public, would be held on Sunday March 25 at St Peter's Cathedral and broadcast live across Australia.Former Australian captain Richie Benaud and Australian Governor-General Sir William Deane would be among the speakers.The neighbouring Adelaide Oval, scene of some of Bradman's memorable batting feats, would also be opened to the public to watch the service from."From the Oval in the evening, the cathedral looks absolutely beautiful," John Bradman, said.
