All India Press Club tourney from March 15

Jaipur: A four-day all India inter-press club cricket tournament will be organised by the Pink City Press Club Jaipur from March 15.The pink city press club president Ishmadhu Talwar and secretary Anil Mathur told media persons on Wednesday that the consent from ten press clubs that included Delhi, Mumbai, Indore, Jammu, Shimla and Ajmer have already been received.While the teams from the press clubs of Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Lucknow were also expected to take part at the Pink City Press Cup, the club was conducting the cricket tournament for the first time here at the all India level.The tournament would be a One-day match of 30 overs on a knockout basis, they said.The winners and runners would be presented running shields and all the participating team members would be given mementos, Mr Talwar said.Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot and governor Mr Justice Anshuman Singh have been invited for the inaugural and concluding ceremony respectively, he added.
