Mumbai: Former captain Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi will represent the Board of Control for Cricket in India at the public memorial service to be held in Adelaide on March 25.It was a surprise choice as Pataudi does not enjoy any official position in BCCI and is picked over Gavaskar, who is having a post in BCCI apart from one in International Cricket Council. But former BCCI president Raj Singh said the choice was made because Pataudi can carry himself well and so BCCI presence will be more felt.Gavaskar, who is among the few cricketers, whose batting got praise from Bradman in his heydays, recently fell out of favour with Raj Singh over the issue of National Cricket Academy and their verbal joust had a huge echo in public.Pataudi will be accompanied by his actress wife Sharmila Tagore.UNI Extras:
