Hyderabad: Former skipper Mohammed Azharuddin, banned for life by the BCCI for his involvement in match-fixing, will organise a fashion show here next week to raise funds for the Gujarat quake victims.The wristy cricketer told UNI on Wednesday that the show, being organised in a five-star city hotel on March 11, would be under the aegis of the newly-launched event management group christened Azhar-Sangeeta Management Services, partnering his actress-wife Sangeeta Bijlani.''The first thought of mine and my wife's (on formation of the group) was to organise something for the orphaned children of the killer quake in Gujarat,'' he said.Among noted names from the fashion world to participate in the show are Wendell Rodricks, Gitanjali Kashyap, Manish Malhotra, and on the ramp would be Madhu Sapre and John Abraham.Talat Aziz, Pooja Batra and city girl Diya Mirza would also take part, he added.
