Dhaka: Australia's Trevor Chappell took over, as Bangladesh's cricket coach on Wednesday and his immediate task will be to prepare the team for two Tests and three One-day matches in Zimbabwe in April.The Bangladesh squad will leave for Harare on April 1 in their first overseas tour after becoming the 10th Test playing nation last year. Bangladesh lost to India in their maiden Test in Dhaka last November.Younger brother of Ian and Greg Chappell, Trevor played three Tests and 20 One-day Internationals for Australia from 1980 to 1983. In Bangladesh, Chappell replaces South African all-rounder Eddie Barlow, who stepped down last year after suffering a brain haemorrhage.Bangladesh Cricket Board president Saber Hossain Chowdhury said Chappell would sign a one-year agreement, which can be renewed on mutual consent.
