KIOC, IACA to conduct summer cricket camps

Bangalore: Karnataka Institute of Cricket (KIOC) with E A S Prasanna heading the coaches panel, will be conducting the annual summer camp and the full year academy from April 2, for both boys and girls, from six years to 25 years of age according to a press release. KIOC has also organised transport for transport facility from various parts of the city for the convenience of the trainees. Hostel facility for out station trainees has also been arranged for. The feature of this year's summer camp will be the introduction of bowling machine and four turf pitches. Another highlight of the camp will be video coverage followed by corrective suggestions. Apart from these, an All India cricket tournament and cricket tours to Sharjah, Malaysia and Bangkok will be conducted during this period. Beside the summer camp, which will conclude on June 2, the trainees can choose between six-day a week or weekend coaching programme for the year academy. Imtiaz Ahmed Cricket Academy The Imtiaz Ahmed Cricket Academy (IACA) will be conducting its summer cricket coaching camp at four centers in Bangalore from April 12 for a period of six weeks till May 31. Boys between eight years and 19 years can avail the scheme at any of these centers: Baldwin Boys High School, Clarence ground, Jyothi Nivas College, Central College. The XVth All India Pepsi cricket tournament for coaching camps from all over the country will be conducted during the last phase of the scheme.
