New Delhi: The Delhi Police have nabbed seven persons for allegedly operating a betting racket and accepting money for the coming One-day International between India and Australia to be held in Goa.The Crime Branch of Delhi police arrested Satish Bansal, Anand Garg, Arnish Kumar, Devender Kumar Dutta, Rajiv Verma, Chandu Shaikhar and Ashwani Kumar for operating a betting racket in a house at Pritampura in west Delhi. The police sent a decoy customer with Rupees 500 for betting in favour of India and they accepted the offer, said the police in an FIR. Police seized telephones, mobile phones, computers, recording machines, printers and documents related to booking for the match. All the accused were produced before the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate J P S Malik on Wednesday for remand. UNI
