Vadodara: Unbeaten 137 runs from the bat of Nayan Mongia took hosts Baroda to 319 for two wickets at close on the opening day of knock semi-final against Orissa at the Gujarat State Fertilizer Corporation (GSFC) ground.Baroda captain Martin won the toss and elected to bat first. Opening pair Satyajit Parab and Williams gave a good start making 54 runs for the first wicket before Williams was caught by Gopal off Mohanty at the individual score of 35 runs. Parab contributed 60 runs in 127 balls with support of seven boundaries.Mongia hit 19 boundaries and one sixer in his unbeaten 137 runs, he played 244 balls. Captain Jacob Martin gave good stand to him, they made unfinished 154 runs partnership for the third wicket. At close Mongia and martin were playing at 137 and 70 respectively.D Mohanty and S Satpathy took one wicket each for Orissa.UNI
