Bhopal: Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) president Raghu Thakur on Sunday criticised the Centre for banning cricket ties between India and Pakistan, alleging that this was an attempt to divert people's attention from the Tehelka expose. ''This is beyond perception why the government, which continuously extended the ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir, is opposing India's cricket encounter with the neighbouring country,'' he wondered while talking to reporters. Alleging that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had changed its agenda after the news portal's revelations, Mr Thakur said the party was raising the Ram Temple issue, besides banning the cricket match with Pakistan in a bid to deflect common men's attention.
